Recruitment is a sales role where hard work and long hours are part of the norm but if you have the desire and motivation to work hard, the rewards are huge.

As we’re looking for Trainee Recruitment Consultants, you don’t need any experience in recruitment or any prior knowledge of the technology that we use, as during your first three months, you will receive full, on-the-job training.

Key Experience/Skills that would benefit you in this opportunity

·Sales Experience – B2B/ Door to Door Sales/ telesales/ customer service, all ideal but not a necessity if your communication skills are excellent.

·Attention to detail and ability to analyse information

·Interpersonal skills – Empathy, understanding, rapport building etc

What will you be doing?

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will become an expert, recruiting into one of our buoyant market sectors. You will be responsible for developing and managing your own portfolio of candidates and clients and be pro-active in developing valuable, long lasting relationships through your business development and direct advertising.

You will be placing the right candidate into the right role and completing the full end to end recruitment process whilst delivering your activity targets set out to help you achieve those goals.

·Applying yourself daily, showing a great attitude, aptitude and initiative by spotting and acting on opportunities to generate revenue.

·Achieve set activity and revenue targets.

·Source candidates from a variety of sources including company database, job boards, LinkedIn and a variety of other social media and online platforms.

·Building a strong understanding of your market.

What does a typical day look like

·Developing new client relationships by prospecting as proactively selling our services

·Identification of the best talent through a variety different sources

·Interviewing candidates through video or telephone interviewing

·Managing the full end to end recruitment process

·Building your personal brand and attracting candidates through social posting

·Regular catch ups with hiring managers to discuss candidate pipeline

·Ensuring every candidate and client has an exceptional experience

As a trainee recruitment consultant you’ll build up your knowledge and specialise within one particular market and become responsible for targeting and attracting innovative clients within that space and finding great candidates for their job vacancies.

You will need to learn how to spin multiple plates, prioritise (then prioritise again as the days can be ever changing), problem solve, deliver great news, provide constructive feedback when things don’t go to plan and hold up our core values throughout those interactions.

You will build relationships with new businesses and develop these into partnerships through fully understanding your clients’ needs, frustrations, preferred way of working and future plans, whilst providing a top service to solve their recruitment headaches and add value to their team.
